Spring was in the air as Tadashi Shoji's first model hit the runway in a vibrant hue of pink. Still feeling like I was in motion after landing, scooting to lunch at Momoya with the beautiful, talented writer and author Brooke Parkhurst, then jetting to the Tadashi show - my September Fashion Week had hit the ground running. The vibrant colors Tadashi showed were just what I needed to put my Fashion Week in motion. From bright bumble bee patterned frocks to delicate sheers and sequins, Tadashi's looks were like a brilliant floral garden. "Art is the unceasing effort to compete with the beauty of flowers," said Gian Carlo Menotti. Tadashi succeeded in capturing this beauty and bringing it to the runway for his Spring 2012 collection. Tadashi Shoji creates exquisite designs which can be found at Saks Fifth Avenue.
