 A reunion 20 years in the making, the meeting of Penn State and Alabama was nothing short of a classy rivalry roaring up again. Life-long fans thought back to the great days of Bear Bryant, and the ladies at Alabama commemorated the tradition through Gameday classics. The sidewalks were covered with only the finest houndstooth and crimson ensembles as all saluted a great match-up in college football.
While the styles of the early 1990s may have come and gone since the last meeting of these two teams, My Scoop had no trouble finding tons of great fashion among the BEST DRESSED out on the quad before the game. Oversized bows dominated this week’s outfits, hanging gracefully off-center or on the shoulder of asymmetrical minis. Ruffles were also a popular choice and appeared in several variations on black and crimson sundresses.
My Scoop will be at The University of Alabama on the lookout for Gameday's Best Dressed at each home game this season. So dig through your closets or take a shopping spree for a new, fashionable Gameday outfit, and you may get ‘spotted’ by My Scoop before the next home game against Florida on October 2nd!
