If we told you to drink everytime Joan Rivers' alien face commented on someone being thin, well then you would be 2 sheets before the awards even start. Have fun, educate yourself about the film industry, and enjoy a little champagne with MyScoop's Oscars drinking game.

Ground rules

First, pick your poison. Our suggestion: Moet, it is the official drink of the Governors' Ball, and unless you are simply Oscar ignorant you should not pass out before the Best Picture is announced.

Pre Show

1 drink if Ryan Seacrest goes over the top complimenting the looks of all the female actors in an effort to remind everyone he is heterosexual.

1 drink if Joan Rivers makes an off color jab about Anthony Weiner, 2 drinks if she makes one about Charlie Sheen, 3 drinks if she makes one about Arnold Schwarzenegger.

1 drink if Kelly Osbornes uses the word 'glamorous', 2 drinks if it is to describe a gown that everyone else thinks is hideous, 3 drinks if the actor wearing the gown is British.

Arrogant Old Man

1 drink if George Clooney, nominated for The Descendants, makes a smug political remark when interviewed.

1 drink if Clooney looks even more like Cary Grant this Oscars - tan, grey hair, and with another different woman from the year before.

1 drink if Clooney comments on drinking or getting hammered.

Superbad

1 drink if Jonah Hill wins an Oscar.

Go Southern

1 drink if The Help wins.

It's the Pitts

1 drink if Angelina leads Brad onto the red carpet, two if he's sporting a billygoat beard, 3 drinks if she snubs Courteney Cox or Jenifer Anniston.

Streeping

1 drink if Meryl Streep wears a long sleeve gown, 2 drinks if she wins her third Oscar for playing Margaret Thatcher in The Iron Lady, 3 drinks if after you hear her speak you think, 'Wow, what an elegant woman.'

Exit Strategy

1 drink when the first person is musically cued to exit after receiving an award, 2 drinks if that person says, 'You can just wait, because I'm not finished.', 3 drinks if that person is a first time Oscar winner.

Silence Rules

1 drink if Jean Dujardin wins for The Artist, 2 drinks if Hazanavicius wins for Best Director, 3 drinks if The Artist wins for Best Picture.

The Show Must Go On

5 more drinks if the show isn't over by midnight.
*We don't recommend this.
